Job Description

The Assistant to the CMO/CCO performs a variety of administrative and organizational services for the Chief Medical Office and the Chief Clinical Officer to support the Clinical Department / Health Interventions Program within Steward Health Choice Arizona (SHCA).

Provides administrative, organizational, and project management support to the Chief Medical Officer, the Chief Clinical Officer, and clinical services department, including administrative support to several internal and external committees, scheduling meetings, preparing and / or distributing agendas and handouts, taking and distributing minutes, preparing task logs and documents, sign-in sheets, and other records.

Performs special research projects, coordinates web page revisions and assists in the preparation and edits of organizational activities, reviews, audits, and clinical deliverables, as assigned. Coordinates, designs, and produces department presentations, trainings, and employee orientations, as assigned. Coordinates, designs, and produces department presentations, trainings, and employee orientations, as requested. Assists co-workers and SHCA work groups with administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree strongly preferred

Experience in health care and / or managed care administrative support preferred

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

High level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent communication skills via email and telephone

Experience in business and medical writing / correspondence

Highly organized and detail-oriented
